USER FRIENDLY
Press a button ONCE to open the door. Press a button ONCE to close the door. It's that simple ! Remote fobs to go on each of your cars keys rings and maybe an extra wall mounted remote inside your house. How did you cope without it ?
INCREASED SECURITY
When the door closes the mechanism automatically locks the boom in place. The better models come with a battery back up, light, and burglar alarm all built in to the control box. The preferred model we sell the most of has a VERY VERY significant number of coding permutations so you don't need to worry about your neighbours remote control opening your door.
INCREASED SAFETY
During our installation procedures we program the motorised system so that it learns to recognise what a normal open and close mode is like. Anything different to that normal mode (eg an obstruction) will be sensed by the system, and the door will stop...AUTOMATICALLY ! Additionally, with regard to roller garage doors we fit sensors using optical safety beams. There are essentially two different types which, in turn, can be wired or wireless. Our preferred model (and the one we sell the most of) has a wireless safety edge transmitter which powers an optical beam through the rubber on the bottom rail, which when activated or compressed stops the door from closing further...AUTOMATICALLY !
MANUAL OVERRIDE
The doors that we fit have a manual override that can be operated from inside the garage. For garages without a separate pedestrian access door, we can additionally fit an external (lockable) manual override.
PREFERRED MODELS
We supply a select number of models. The one we sell the most of is a joy to install and has proved itself to be incredibly reliable. With automatic garage door mechanisms you pretty much get what you pay for, so if you buy cheap then what you get is a cheap product.
ALTERNATIVE AUTOMATION
The above narrative focusses predominantly on roller garage doors. In the case of, for example a retractable door, a "hold to run" system might be employed. We will be happy to discuss the different options with you.
RETRO-FIT
